“Colorado will be one of the real keys to this electoral cycle, and activating Larimer’s large base of Democrats and persuading its independents early and often, especially all those young voters who worked so hard for Obama in ‘08, and now are perhaps more disenchanted with him but still haven’t ‘left’ Obama, will be key,” said Kyle Saunders, CSU political scientist.
