CSU president Tony Frank called the passing “an enormous and tragic loss for CSU and all of Colorado.” Football coach Steve Fairchild recalled spending a day as a guest in McGregor’s Coors Field VIP box. Athletic director Paul Kowalczyk said, “Keli was a man of integrity and class, the finest representative of Colorado State University and Ram athletics.”
