Corn production elsewhere expected to be down, future prices uncertain, local experts say

“Predicting commodity prices can be a tough thing to get a grasp on. There are just so many factors that play into everything,” said Norm Dalsted, an agriculture economist and professor at Colorado State University. “There’s no doubt that if production is down, prices could rise. But many factors have yet to play out.”
