Soo Kang
Kang researches consumer behavior in hospitality and tourism, including quality-of-life issues in tourism areas, such as gambling destinations in Colorado and South Korea.
A Certified Hospitality Educator and program coordinator in hospitality management, Kang studies cross-cultural tourism behaviors and management as well as Destination Marketing Organization marketing and management.
Kang authored a chapter on casino gambling in Colorado and South Dakota for the 2009 publication, “The History of Gambling in America.”
Kang attended Kansas State University for hospitality management, where she earned her M.S. in 1999 and her Ph.D. in 2002. Kang was a visiting scholar of the Hong Kong Polytechnic Institute and South Korea’s Kyung Hee University.
