Rebecca Hill is a professor of agricultural and resource economics for the Colorado State University Office of Engagement and Extension and CSU Regional Economic Development Institute. She is also co-director of the Colorado AgriAbility Project and runs CSU Extension’s internship program.   

Her work revolves around the economic impacts of various policies, projects or industries on communities and the state. Hill researches a variety of topics, with a specific focus on general agriculture, rural communities, hemp, water resources and outdoor recreation.  

Hill earned a Ph.D in agricultural and resource economics at Colorado State University.   

She has been published in Journal of Cannabis Research, Journal of Renewable and Sustainable Energy, Journal of Outdoor Recreation and Tourism and more.
