Katie Knobloch

Knobloch is the associate director of the Center for Public Deliberation at Colorado State University.

As a faculty member in the Department of Communications Studies, Knobloch explores the development, evaluation and impact of deliberative public processes.

Knobloch’s work has appeared in The Journal of Applied Communication Research and Javnost – The Public as well as in several edited books, including “Democracy in Motion: Evaluating the Practice and Impact of Deliberative Civic Engagement” and the Oxford Handbook of Political Communication.

Knobloch received her Ph.D. from the University of Washington in 2012 and her M.M.C. from the Manship School of Mass Communication at Louisiana State University in 2008.
