Jeffrey Nowacki is an associate professor of sociology at Colorado State University. His research focuses on the social responses to crime.
More specifically, his work looks at how the characteristics of police organizations influence a variety of outcomes, including police diversification. His sentencing research focuses on inequalities, especially those related to a social context.
Nowacki earned his Ph.D from the University of New Mexico, and as served as a lecturer at the University of Denver and associate professor in the Department of Criminology and Social Justice at Southern Illinois University.
His research has been published in the British Journal of Criminology, Criminal Justice Policy Review, Policing: An Internal Journal and more.
