Jason Quinn is the operating director at CSU’s Energy Institute and a professor of Mechanical Engineering, specializing in sustainability, system optimization and life cycle assessment. With a doctoral degree in Mechanical Engineering from CSU and a Master of Science in Nuclear Engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, Quinn is an authority in evaluating energy technologies through carbon accounting.

His research, notably featured in publications like Nature, including the article “Carbon footprint of indoor cultivated cannabis,” has garnered significant attention for uncovering the environmental implications of various technologies.
