Hamed Qahri-Saremi is an assistant professor of computer information systems at Colorado State University. His research focuses on two areas:  

• User behavior on social media and online review and rating platforms.  
• How users interact with artificial intelligence systems and what impact this has on their decision-making.  

Qahri-Saremi is particularly interested in the dark sides of these technologies and their negative consequences for users and society, especially since these issues and the role of technology itself is at the heart of our daily lives.  

He completed his Ph.D in business administrator at McMaster University and has been featured in multiple publications including Journal of Management Information Systems, Journal of the Association for Information Systems, European Journal of Information Systems, Information Systems Journal, Journal of Strategic Information Systems, Information & Management and New Media & Society.
