Dimitris Stevis is a professor of political science at Colorado State University. His research focuses on work, workers and the environment.   

Some of the key questions he studies include:  

• How does work affect workers and the environment?  
• How does environmental policy affect work and workers?  
• How do certain policies – like Colorado’s recent transition from coal and towards renewables – impact workers and communities?  
• How do just transition policies in energy and other sectors impact the U.S. and the world?

He earned his Ph.D. in international politics from the University of Arizona.
