Allison O’Connor is a professor of horticulture for Colorado State University Extension. Her position is focused on providing outreach education to the community and coordinating the Larimer County Master Gardener Volunteers.  

O’Connor can provide insight to help people become successful in all their gardening endeavors, be it growing tomatoes, keeping houseplants alive, figuring out what to grow in Colorado’s semi-arid climate, supporting pollinators or implementing sustainable lawncare.   

She earned her undergraduate degree in horticulture at Iowa State University, her master’s at Ohio State and finally her Ph.D at Colorado State University.
