Media advisory: Colorado Drone Airshow lands at CSU Oct. 6 -7

What: 

Colorado State University’s first annual Colorado Drone Airshow will feature two days of immersive experiences that include live drone demonstrations, flight experiences, educational sessions, drone racing and a free light show that the whole community can enjoy.

When: 

Friday, Oct. 6 and Saturday, Oct. 7. The first day of the airshow, “industry day,” will highlight new technologies created by manufacturers and researchers developing unmanned aircraft systems. There will also be a drone light show by sponsor Bright Flight Drones on the CSU Intramural Fields at 9:30 p.m., which is free and open to the public.

Saturday, Oct. 7, is “community day,” where anyone who is interested is invited to enjoy drone racing, demonstrations and food trucks, and learn about drone technology through the dedicated education space, or by browsing exhibitor booths.

Where: 

The Colorado Drone Airshow will be held at Christman Airfield at 3985 Laporte Ave., Fort Collins, Colorado. The free Drone Light Show will be visible from the CSU Intramural Fields.
