Colorado State University will welcome more than 5,000 students to residence halls Monday, Aug. 14–Wednesday, Aug. 16, 2023.
New students and families are encouraged to participate in Ram Welcome when they arrive. A schedule of events is available at ramwelcome.colostate.edu.

With the Westfall Hall renovation complete, CSU’s current residential facilities are equipped to meet the anticipated needs for this academic year. The university has capacity for about 8,500 residents. Residence hall capacity is about 6,600; apartment capacity is about 1,900.
The university completed a space audit this year and was able to identify and prepare about 120 more spaces within existing facilities to accommodate the growing need for on-campus housing.
