Colorado State University’s College of Business has been recognized for its outstanding online graduate education programs by U.S. News and World Report in its 2018 rankings.

The College of Business online MBA program ranked No. 34 among public universities and is Colorado’s top-ranked program—and in the top 15 percent nationwide. The College achieved other notable rankings among public universities, including best online graduate business program at No. 26 and best graduate online information technology program at No. 21.

“Our College’s online MBA has maintained a long tradition of excellence and leadership in business education,” said Sanjay Ramchander, associate dean for academic programs in CSU’s College of Business.

Key factors that contributed to CSU’s College of Business success included student engagement, admissions selectivity, peer reputation, faculty credentials and training, and student services and technology.

“Our online program is taught by some of the brightest minds in their fields, and is delivered in an innovative and engaging format,” said Ramchander. “This is our best ranking yet, and an indicator of our continual focus on student success. This program is transformative for those taking it, and we are proud that its quality is reflected in these rankings.”

For nearly 50 years, CSU’s College of Business has been a pioneer and innovator in distance and online education. The online MBA programs at Colorado State University are accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business, the gold standard of business school accreditation.

The U.S. News and World Report ranking is just the latest recognition. In 2017, Financial Times awarded CSU’s College of Business a top 20 ranking in the world for its online MBA.
