Colorado State University President Tony Frank will deliver the annual President’s Fall Address on Wednesday, Sept. 10, on the University’s historic Oval. In his address, he will offer highlights of the past year and discuss the University’s ongoing emphasis on academic excellence and a high-quality student experience, among other topics.

The university community is invited to gather at the Oval at 11:15 a.m. with the Colorado State University Marching Band. Frank will begin his comments at 11:30 a.m. from the south end of the Oval.
Immediately following the address will be the annual University Picnic, celebrating and promoting the spirit of Colorado State.

The University Picnic was first held in September 1997 as a thank you to the university community for pulling together in the aftermath of the devastating Spring Creek Flood. The event has been a University tradition ever since.

University classes will not be canceled, but departments are encouraged to arrange schedules to accommodate those who wish to attend. The Oval will be closed to traffic and parking throughout the day.
