Colorado State University Off-Campus Life Hosts Renting 101 Workshop Nov. 10

Colorado State University Off-Campus Life will host “Renting 101: Preferred Tenant Workshop” at 5:30 p.m. Nov. 10 in Room 220-222 of the Lory Student Center.

Students will learn about the rental process, information regarding leases, tenant’s rights, codes and ordinances, parties, and finances and budgets.

Experts from CSU and Fort Collins will provide students with the information they need to have for a successful renting experience. They also will answer questions about renting and being a tenant.

By taking this rental workshop, students will gain knowledge and resources to make finding a place and living off-campus a much easier process. Students will receive a certificate of completion that can be shared with landlords.

The event is free, but students must register in advance by clicking on the “Renting 101: Preferred Tenant Workshop Registration” link on the Off-Campus Life homepage by visiting www.ocl.colostate.edu.
