University Scholarship Created for Colorado Community and Junior College Transfer Students
Colorado State University recently created a new scholarship opportunity for transfer students. The Colorado Two-Year College Merit Scholarship will be awarded to students transferring from Colorado community or junior colleges to Colorado State. The $1,000 scholarship is renewable for a second year at Colorado State, if renewal requirements are met, for a total award of $2,000.
A limited number of scholarships are available. To be considered for the award, transfer students must meet the following eligibility requirements:
– be transferring to Colorado State from a Colorado community or junior college at the time of application;
– have a 3.5 or better cumulative GPA;
– be admitted to Colorado State by June 1 for the fall semester; and
– be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident.
The application for admission will serve as the application for the scholarship. For more information, contact Heather Esterday, scholarship coordinator for Student Financial Services, at [email protected] or visit the Student Financial Services Web site at www.sfs.colostate.edu.
