Colorado State Offers Workshops on Growing Greener Pastures

Do your horses think the grass is greener on the other side of the fence? Join Colorado State University from 5 – 7 p.m. July 18 at the university Equine Center for a free grazing management workshop and learn how to get the most out of a pasture.

Experts from Colorado State University will discuss how to maintain productive pastures on small holdings. Easy-to-implement techniques for managing grazing horses will also be demonstrated. Pre-register at 970-491-8373.

This workshop is sponsored by the Colorado State University Equine Sciences Program, Colorado State Cooperative Extension and the Rocky Mountain Quarter Horse Association.

The grazing workshop is followed by a two-day workshop featuring top horseman Joe Wolter.
