The speech delivered by Archbishop Desmond Tutu this week at Colorado State University will be available for rebroadcast on the Web any time from 8 a.m. Saturday, April 12, through midnight Friday, April 18. The Nobel laureate spoke to a sold-out audience at Colorado State as part of "Bridges to the Future: American History and Values in Light of September 11th."

Archbishop Tutu’s lecture was sponsored by "Bridges to the Future" and the Association for Student Activity Programming. Bridges to the Future is a statewide dialogue co-sponsored by Colorado State and the University of Denver to encourage Coloradans to renew and /or reframe their personal values and reignite a spirit of civic and social responsibility.

Upcoming speakers for "Bridges to the Future" include America’s most well-known, politically diverse couple, Mary Matalin and James Carville, who will speak at Colorado State University on May 6. Matalin, former assistant to President Bush and counselor to Vice-President Cheney, and Carville, political consultant and co-host of

CNN’s "Crossfire," will lecture at 7 p.m. in Colorado State University’s Moby Arena. The event is free and open to the public, but advance tickets are required.
