Rocky Mountain PBS: Recent data published by researchers at Colorado State University suggested that although wolves might play an important top-down role in ecosystems and the removal of wolves might cause ecosystem level impacts, the restoration of wolves back to systems that have been highly degraded doesn’t necessarily result in a quick fix for ecosystems.
