Colorado State University entomologist Whitney Cranshaw said the number of miller moths trekking across Colorado’s Eastern Plains and Front Range are up slightly from last year, but a cooler than normal spring slowed the growth of the caterpillar stage and cool nights later delayed the flights of the moths.
