Irlbeck, the associate dean of academic affairs for Colorado State University’s College of Agricultural Sciences, is among a cast of 103 university faculty helping educate students as they prepare to deal with a world population expected to reach 9 billion to 11 billion people by 2050, according to the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations.
