CBS 12 South Florida: The research will be spearheaded by Sheryl Magzamen, a Colorado State University professor who specializes in air quality and public health. Magzamen says she was inspired to submit a research proposal to NASA following an independent investigation into sugarcane burning in the Glades by ProPublica and the Palm Beach Post.
