AccuWeather sees eight tropical storms, four hurricanes, and one major one with winds of at least 111 m.p.h. during the season, which runs from June 1 through Nov. 30. That’s quite similar to the April forecast by the Colorado State University team of Bill Gray and Phil Klotzbach — seven storms, three hurricanes, and one major.
