CSU students assess community needs

Outlet: The Flume (Park County)

The Flume (Park County): Colorado State University (CSU) students Elizabeth Rencher and Andy Berry met with the local community to hear about various needs within Park County on March 1. Several members from the area appeared in person including representatives from the coroner’s office, public affairs, public health, business owners and various nonprofits. County commissioners, Amy Mitchell and Dave Wissell were also in attendance. The purpose of the meeting was to serve as a community assessment for the Park County area, to see if any gaps within the community might easily be filled. The students involved are expected to come up with a plan to address one of the few needs in Park County.
