Renowned engineering research programs at Colorado State University bear the fingerprints of Daryl Simons. Simons, who passed away March 13 at the age of 87, was a driving force in putting CSU on the federal government’s research map by raising millions of dollars, forging partnerships and establishing new programs. CSU recently honored Simons by renaming its main building at the Engineering Research Center located on the foothills campus.
