A public-private program has helped Colorado’s toughest foster kids get adopted. Now the state is cutting its funding.

Colorado Sun: The study, conducted by Colorado State University and the Kempe Center at the University of Colorado, suggested that the reason there was no statistical difference between the two groups was possibly because Wendy’s Wonderful Kids was placing kids with “higher acuity” and more “complex needs,” allowing for adoption at similar rates.
