Research scientists at Colorado State University and other research institutions who commercialize their innovations can apply for $2 million in grants approved by Owens on Monday. More details will be announced next month about the one-time grants worth up to $150,000. Bioscientists had been lobbying for more financing for research, which could eventually create additional jobs in Colorado.
