Neil Grigg focuses on global water resources and infrastructure issues, with an emphasis on planning and management in current political and financial climates.

Grigg has worked as a consulting engineer and a state environmental official, and has sat on government policy and advisory panels. He has published several books including his most recent, “Water Finance: Public Responsibilities and Private Opportunities.”

In 2005, Grigg was awarded the Walter Scott Jr., College of Engineering’s Abell Outstanding Faculty Teaching and Service Award and was named a Distinguished Faculty member by the CSU Alumni Association. In 2011, the International Water Resources Association recognized him with the Best Paper award.

Grigg earned his B.S. in engineering from the U.S. Military Academy. He received his M.S. in hydraulic and structural engineering from Auburn University and his Ph.D. in hydraulic engineering from CSU.
