James Pritchett
Pritchett, dean of the College of Agricultural Sciences, is an agricultural economist.
Pritchett’s work includes facilitating and implementing the shared strategic vision of the College of Agricultural Sciences. On a day-to-day basis, he leads the college’s student success and diversity teams, campus operations and administration.
Pritchett works in a wide range of teaching, research and engagement areas, including agribusiness management, water resource economics, community development and interdisciplinary land management strategies.
Originally from southeastern Colorado, Pritchett is a two-time alumnus of CSU, and he received his Ph.D. in agriculture and applied economics from the University of Minnesota.
