Daniel Beveridge is the fire, fuels and watershed manager for the Colorado State Forest Service. He oversees a variety of statewide programs that promote forest and watershed health and supports recognition of fire’s critical role in Colorado’s diverse ecosystems.  

Beveridge spent the majority of his professional career as a wildland firefighter with local, state and federal agencies in Arizona and Colorado. He has been a wildland fire mitigation program specialist for the CSFS and values the important role of collaboration and shared learning in the natural resource management field. 

Beveridge maintains numerous National Wildfire Coordinating Group operational and planning qualifications, is an International Society of Arboriculture certified arborist and holds a master’s degree in natural resources stewardship with a forest science concentration from Colorado State University.
