Bruce Draper is a professor and chair of the Department of Computer Science at Colorado State University. Prior to joining CSU, he worked as a DARPA program manager.
Draper’s research focuses on machine learning, with an emphasis on visual learning. He also has a special expertise in visual agents and adversarial AI.
He has been involved in studies focused on object tracking and facial recognition. Draper’s most recent project focuses on automated visual communication, visual agents and augmented reality, as well as defending AI systems against adversarial attacks.
Draper earned his bachelor’s degree at Yale University and received his master’s and Ph.D. from the University of Massachusetts Amherst.
His research has been published in the International Journal of Pattern Recognition and Artificial Intelligence, Linear Algebra and its Applications, Image Vision and Computing and more.
