Bailey Carr is a registered dietician and nutritionist for the Kendall Reagan Nutrition Center who is based out of the Colorado State University Spur campus in Denver.

In her role as a culinary and nutrition educator, she provides group programming and cooking demonstrations throughout the Denver community, as well as sees clients one-to-one to provide personalized nutrition counseling.

Carr received a bachelor’s degree from The Ohio State University. This is also where she was introduced to culinary dietetics and worked alongside a group of chefs and registered dieticians who taught patients and their families not just what foods to eat, but how to cook them.

Following this opportunity, Carr departed into the world of food publication and media, and worked at a local food magazine in Nashville. She then transitioned to an outpatient nutrition clinic at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. After spending time in direct patient counseling Carr decided to attend culinary school, specializing in culinary arts, to become even more proficient in cooking technique to help clients break down the barrier of kitchen intimidation – the focus of her current role.
