WHAT:
CSU President Amy Parsons will deliver the university’s Fall Address on Wednesday, Oct. 2.
WHEN:
CSU’s Fall Address and University Picnic will be held at 11 a.m. on the university’s historic Oval. The Fall Address will begin at 11 a.m. and the University Picnic will be held from noon-1 p.m.
DETAILS:
The cornerstone of the CSU Fall Address will be President Amy Parsons providing remarks about the state of the university and recognizing highlights of the past year.
The event will include the National Anthem and presentation of the colors, and a reading of the CSU Land Acknowledgement, as well as performances by the university’s band, CSU Choir and Golden Poms.
Associated Students of Colorado State University President Nick DeSalvo will offer a welcome, and Provost and Executive Vice President Marion Underwood will provide introductory remarks.
Former CSU President Albert Yates launched the tradition of an annual Fall Address following the 1997 Spring Creek Flood, as a thank you to the University community for pulling together in the aftermath and recovery effort.
