Media advisory: Next generation of fashion designers to showcase their collections at CSU student fashion show

Media interested in attending the fashion show or speaking with any of the student designers can contact Allison Sylte at [email protected]

What: Fashion that transcends into a multidimensional journey of color, texture, culture and innovation will take center stage during the Colorado State University Department of Design and Merchandising spring fashion show. The theme of this year’s event is “Walk the Kaleidoscope,” and 17 signature capstone collections designed by CSU students will come alive on the runway.

This will also mark the debut of the President Parsons Collection. Over the course of the year, CSU President Amy Parsons collaborated with a team of students to design a special collection of dresses just for her – and she even popped into the design and merchandising department’s 3D scanner to ensure a perfect fit. President Parsons will be walking the runway during the student fashion show to model the finished result and highlight all of the amazing student designers involved in the process.

When: 7:30 p.m. on Friday, May 3.

Where: Lory Student Center Ballrooms B and C.
