As a member of the CSU Division of External Relations, Henley will work to continue building awareness in the Denver market of CSU’s world-class academic programs and research activities. He will also provide communications support for the CSU System, which includes the CSU campus in Fort Collins, CSU-Pueblo and the CSU-Global Campus.

“I’m tremendously pleased to welcome Kyle to the CSU communications team,” said Tom Milligan, CSU vice president for External Relations. “Kyle is a talented communicator with a proven track record of success in the Denver market and beyond. CSU is committed to demonstrating the value of our cutting-edge research and top-quality academic programs to the state of Colorado, and Kyle’s experience will help the university showcase our success to important stakeholders in the state’s largest metro area.”

Prior to joining CSU, Henley was corporate communications manager for CoBank, a $69 billion cooperative bank headquartered in the Denver Tech Center that serves agribusinesses and rural infrastructure providers throughout the United States. Henley also has worked in the Denver advertising agency world and spent more than a decade as an award-winning journalist in Colorado. He has a bachelor’s degree in journalism from the University of Northern Colorado.

“CSU is a vital educational and economic resource for Colorado that is transforming lives and driving innovation,” Henley said. “I’m deeply committed to the university’s core mission and thrilled to have the opportunity to tell the CSU story in the Denver community.”
