Colorado State University has a long and storied connection to the National Western Stock Show, one of Denver’s and the Rocky Mountain West’s most anticipated annual traditions.
Today, the partnership between the National Western Stock Show and Colorado State remains strong. “The National Western Stock Show continues its history of generous giving and support of Colorado State. The Stock Show is the largest individual scholarship donor in the College of Agricultural Sciences,” said Director of Development Rick Brase. “In 2010-11, the NWSS awarded 27 scholarships to CSU agriculture students.”
Plan to stop by the CSU exhibit booth, located on the third floor of the Hall of Education, for information on academic programs, giveaways and more. Tour CSU’s Ag Adventure, an interactive exhibit in conjunction with several Colorado commodity groups located next to the CSU booth, that will help teach children about animal husbandry and agriculture.
