Media Advisory: CSU College of Business to Host Event Highlighting Legacy of Business Leader and Philanthropist Bill Daniels June 17
Colorado State University’s College of Business will host an event on June 17 highlighting the legacy of Bill Daniels, a business leader and philanthropist, who died in March 2000. Upon his death, his estate transferred to the Daniels Fund, which provides grants and scholarships in Colorado, New Mexico, Utah and Wyoming.
The 10th anniversary of the Daniels Fund will be celebrated at the eight partnering universities in the Daniels Fund Ethics Initiative, an innovative program designed to instill a high standard of business ethics in graduates. The event at CSU’s College of Business will be linked to the other sites through a video simulcast.
WHO/WHAT: Colorado State University System Chancellor Joe Blake, CSU Dean of the College of Business Ajay Menon, nonprofit and community leaders, and recipients of the Daniels Scholarship will gather to celebrate the impact that Bill Daniels has had across the region through the Daniels Fund and other programs he established.
WHERE: CSU College of Business- Bohemian Auditorium, Room 116 in Rockwell Hall-West.
WHEN: 4 – 6 p.m. on Thursday, June 17.
