Colorado State University to Hold ‘Budget 101’ Sessions Open to the Public March 2-3
Colorado State University will hold three public ‘Budget 101’ educational sessions for the campus and larger communities March 2 – 3. Interim Provost Rick Miranda and Vice President for Finance Allison Dineen will present straightforward information designed to help attendees understand CSU’s complex budget process.
Sessions of "Budget 101: A primer to participation in the academic budget process" are free and open to the public and will be held in the North Ballroom of the Lory Student Center on campus. Sessions are scheduled for:
– March 2
3-4:30 p.m.
5:30-7 p.m.
– March 3
9-10:30 a.m.
The Budget 101 sessions will provide an overview and understanding of university finances and budgeting priorities. The sessions will further ensure a solid base of information for those interested in attending and participating in the university’s annual Budget Hearing, also open to the public, scheduled for March 11 at the Hilton, 425 W. Prospect Road, Fort Collins.
